Mindful Breathing Exercise
This 'Lazy 8 breathing' mindful breathing exercise is taken from our Ages 7-13 Mental Health Skills Programme, and can be practised as a way of reducing emotional distress. It can form part of children's and adults' emotional and mental health toolkit. The idea is to practise it first under ordinary circumstances when not in distress, so that it is familiar and can then be used when needed in more challenging times. Detailed instructions are provided on the PDF. Lazy 8 mindful breathing Postcard
